We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as Desktop Support
Responsibilities
· Provide expert remote desktop support to ensure smooth and efficient operations for all users.
· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
· Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective support strategies.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in desktop support.
· Ensure all support requests are logged and tracked in the system for accurate reporting and analysis.
· Develop and deliver training sessions to enhance user proficiency and reduce support requests.
· Oversee the installation and configuration of desktop systems and software applications.
· Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues to prevent disruptions.
· Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely resolution of hardware and software issues.
· Document all support processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in service delivery.
· Provide feedback and recommendations for improving support processes and user experience.
· Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all support activities.
· Contribute to the development of support documentation and knowledge base articles.
Qualifications
· Possess a strong understanding of desktop support principles and practices.
· Demonstrate proficiency in remote support tools and technologies.
· Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Have strong communication skills to effectively interact with users and team members.
· Show ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
· Display a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
· Hold a relevant certification such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
