Job Summary
Serve as a subject matter expert in learning and development for a global organization designing and delivering training focused on benefits open enrollment HIPAA compliance and payer and provider processes. Partner with stakeholders to build effective hybrid learning experiences for night shift teams that improve compliance operational accuracy and service quality.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver structured learning programs that strengthen understanding of benefits open enrollment processes for hybrid night shift teams in provider and payer environments.
- Develop detailed learning materials that translate complex HIPAA compliance rules into clear and practical guidance tailored for operations and support staff.
- Conduct engaging virtual and in person training sessions that focus on real world payer and provider scenarios to improve accuracy and consistency in daily tasks.
- Analyze training feedback and performance metrics to refine course content so that programs continuously improve and remain aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with operations managers and process experts to identify learning gaps related to benefits open enrollment workflows and create targeted training interventions.
- Create scenario based assessments that measure learner proficiency in HIPAA requirements and benefits administration while reinforcing correct behaviors.
- Maintain and update learning assets so that all content reflects current regulatory expectations and internal policies in the healthcare payer and provider space.
- Coordinate with quality and compliance teams to ensure that training for night shift staff reduces errors and supports audit readiness across processes.
- Use learning management systems to schedule sessions enroll participants track completion and generate reports for stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Provide one on one coaching and small group refreshers for individuals who need additional support with HIPAA or benefits open enrollment topics.
- Partner with workforce management and human resources teams to align training calendars with business volumes while respecting hybrid work patterns and night shift schedules.
- Support new hire onboarding by integrating foundational modules on payer and provider operations into structured learning paths that accelerate job readiness.
- Document training outcomes and share concise insights with leaders so that learning initiatives clearly demonstrate value to clients and the wider healthcare ecosystem.
Qualifications
- possess a bachelors degree or equivalent experience in fields such as human resources education healthcare administration or business with a strong focus on learning and development.
- demonstrate practical experience in designing and delivering training content for benefits open enrollment processes within payer and provider organizations.
- bring hands on exposure to HIPAA requirements applied in day to day healthcare operations with a solid understanding of privacy and security considerations.
- show proficiency in creating clear instructional materials such as facilitator guides participant workbooks job aids and digital learning assets.
- exhibit experience working in hybrid work models and supporting night shift teams with training solutions that respect time constraints and diverse locations.
- utilize learning management systems to manage course catalogs track learner progress and produce simple and accurate training reports.
- communicate clearly in spoken and written form with the ability to adapt messaging for learners stakeholders and compliance partners in a concise manner.
- apply analytical skills to interpret training feedback assessment scores and quality metrics in order to recommend specific improvements to learning programs.
- manage multiple training requests and timelines while maintaining attention to detail and meeting commitments without the need for travel.
- display familiarity with healthcare insurance operations covering both provider and payer perspectives and how they interact in core processes.
