Job Title: BI Developer / Data Analytics Engineer
Location: Oaks, PA (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled BI Developer / Data Analytics Engineer to support data reporting, integration, and analytics initiatives for SEI Global Services. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL development, Business Objects, Power BI, and SSIS, with a focus on delivering scalable and high-quality data solutions. This role involves working in a hybrid environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable data-driven decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
Data Development & Reporting
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
- Create, maintain, and enhance Business Objects (BO) reports and universes
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Ensure accurate data visualization and performance tuning of reports
Data Integration & ETL
- Design, build, and maintain ETL workflows using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
- Extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into data warehouses
- Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation to ensure high data quality
Cloud & Modern Data Platform
- Support migration and integration to cloud-based data infrastructure
- Work with teams to enable data delivery through modern platforms (SWP initiative)
- Ensure scalability, security, and reliability of data pipelines
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Provide support for production issues, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
Performance & Governance
- Optimize database performance and ensure efficient query execution
- Maintain documentation for data models, ETL processes, and reports
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SQL Programming
- Expertise in Business Objects (BO) report development & maintenance
- Experience in Power BI (dashboarding, DAX, data modeling)
- Strong experience with SSIS (ETL development and data integration)
- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling
- Experience working in hybrid/cloud environments
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Azure / AWS data services
- Knowledge of data pipelines and modern data platforms
- Experience with financial services domain (nice to have, given SEI client)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in BI/Data Engineering roles
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Work Model
- Hybrid role based out of Oaks, PA
- Expected to be onsite 2–3 days per week
