Job summary
Geospatial Manager MAP will design and optimize enterprise geospatial solutions using Veeva advanced configuration to support data driven decisions across multiple business units. The role involves managing complex geospatial data pipelines ensuring data quality and guiding teams in implementing scalable cloud based geospatial platforms in a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
Design geospatial solution architectures that integrate Veeva advanced configuration with enterprise systems to support reliable mapping analytics and operational reporting workflowsOversee implementation of complex geospatial data models that enable accurate spatial analysis routing optimization and territory management for global stakeholdersCoordinate with product owners data engineers and application teams to translate business needs into robust geospatial configurations that align with company strategyDevelop advanced Veeva configuration patterns for geospatial features that improve field productivity compliance tracking and scientific engagement outcomesOptimize geospatial data ingestion transformation and enrichment pipelines to ensure high data quality performance and timely availability for analytics and dashboardsMonitor production geospatial platforms for stability scalability and performance while driving continuous improvement based on usage patterns and feedbackGuide cross functional teams on best practices for map visualization spatial querying and location intelligence to maximize value from geospatial assetsCollaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure responsible handling of spatial data including patient provider and territory information in line with corporate policiesDocument geospatial configuration standards design decisions and operational runbooks to support consistent implementation and smoother onboarding of new team membersCoordinate testing strategies for geospatial features including regression performance and user acceptance tests to ensure reliable releases in day shift operationsProvide technical mentorship to team members on Veeva advanced configuration and geospatial concepts to build a resilient internal capability over timeEngage with business stakeholders to measure the impact of geospatial solutions on sales planning resource allocation and service coverage and refine roadmaps accordinglyAlign geospatial initiatives with company sustainability and societal impact goals by enabling better planning of outreach programs healthcare access mapping and resource distribution
Qualifications
Require a degree in engineering computer science geography or a related field with substantial focus on geospatial technologies and enterprise systemsRequire eleven to fourteen years of progressive experience working with geospatial solutions including hands on configuration delivery and platform ownership in large organizationsRequire proven experience with Veeva advanced configuration focusing on data model customization business rules workflows and integrations for field facing applicationsRequire strong proficiency in geographic information systems tools spatial databases and spatial analysis techniques applied to real world business scenariosRequire demonstrated ability to design and operate cloud based geospatial platforms using technologies such as managed databases containerized services and modern data pipelinesRequire solid understanding of data integration concepts including API based integration batch processing and near real time data synchronization for geospatial datasetsRequire experience in collaborating with cross functional teams product management and operations to deliver high impact geospatial features on predictable timelinesNice to have familiarity with advanced analytics and data science practices for geospatial data including clustering heat mapping and territory optimization methodsNice to have experience working in life sciences or highly regulated industries where geospatial solutions support field engagement compliance and reporting needsNice to have exposure to enterprise scale mapping platforms and visualization tools that support complex layers user personalization and responsive designNice to have background in agile delivery practices including backlog grooming sprint planning and incremental rollout of geospatial capabilities in a hybrid work setupNice to have strong communication and stakeholder management skills to explain complex geospatial concepts in accessible language to non technical audiences
