Job Summary
Principal Product Consultant with deep experience in Facets Technical will drive complex product consulting and solution design for payer focused implementations in a hybrid work model. The role focuses on guiding enterprise clients in optimizing Facets based platforms to improve operational efficiency member services and regulatory compliance while closely collaborating with cross functional teams in a day shift environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive advanced product consulting engagements by analyzing client business processes and mapping them to Facets Technical capabilities to deliver scalable payer solutions that improve operational efficiency and member outcomes.
- Lead detailed requirement understanding sessions with client and internal stakeholders to translate complex payer domain needs into clear Facets configuration and integration specifications that ensure high quality implementations.
- Provide end to end guidance on Facets architecture including modules data structures and batch processes to help clients design robust solutions that support claims processing enrollment billing and provider management.
- Coordinate with engineering and configuration teams to validate technical designs and ensure Facets based solutions are aligned with performance security and compliance expectations within the hybrid work environment.
- Drive defect analysis and production issue resolution by performing root cause investigations on Facets processes and recommending sustainable corrective actions that reduce future incidents and downtime.
- Collaborate with product management to propose enhancements and optimization opportunities for Facets features based on payer domain trends regulatory changes and client feedback ensuring continuous product improvement.
- Guide data migration and conversion activities by defining mapping rules validation checkpoints and reconciliation methods for Facets implementation ensuring data integrity and reliable reporting for business users.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and structured documentation for client and internal teams to build strong understanding of Facets capabilities configuration standards and best practices tailored to payer operations.
- Align consulting activities with company goals by focusing on solutions that enhance healthcare access reduce administrative burden and support better experiences for members and providers.
- Support project planning by providing realistic effort estimates risk assessments and dependency insights for Facets related tasks helping project managers maintain reliable delivery timelines without the need for travel.
- Coordinate cross functional collaboration between business analysts developers testers and operations teams to ensure Facets solutions are thoroughly validated and smoothly transitioned into production in a day shift model.
- Evaluate existing client Facets environments to identify performance bottlenecks configuration gaps and process inefficiencies and recommend targeted improvements that deliver measurable business value.
- Drive continuous improvement by tracking implementation outcomes documenting lessons learned and feeding insights into internal frameworks and accelerators that strengthen the organization consulting capabilities.
Qualifications
- Possess extensive hands on experience working with Facets Technical including configuration integration and batch processing across multiple complex implementations in a payer oriented setting.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of payer domain concepts such as claims lifecycle eligibility enrollment benefits provider data and utilization management and apply this understanding to practical solution design.
- Bring solid expertise in analyzing requirements writing clear functional and technical specifications and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure end to end solution clarity and consistency.
- Apply advanced problem solving skills to troubleshoot Facets issues interpret logs and data flows and recommend practical remediation steps that stabilize systems and prevent recurring problems.
- Exhibit proficiency in working within a hybrid work model using collaboration tools and structured communication practices to maintain transparency and alignment across distributed teams.
- Show familiarity with healthcare regulatory contexts and payer compliance needs enabling the design of solutions that support accurate reporting audit readiness and quality outcomes.
