Job Summary
We are seeking an Information Security Analyst with strong experience in Identity & Access Management, SailPoint IIQ Request Management, and centralized access governance. This role will support stakeholder engagement, onboarding, intake management, escalations, and exception handling for a centralized access request model. The analyst will work closely with business, IAM, technology engineering, and compliance teams to ensure access request processes align with governance standards and IAM controls. The position requires strong knowledge of SailPoint IdentityIQ, access management workflows, governance metrics, and Agile delivery practices.

In this role, you will:
· Facilitate stakeholder engagement and onboarding into the centralized access governance and request management model.
· Gather and document requirements for centralizing access request workflows in SailPoint IIQ in collaboration with Lines of Business.
· Support SailPoint IIQ Request Management capabilities, including intake, workflow design, escalation handling, and exception management.
· Partner with technology engineering teams to deliver new request management features aligned with the IAM strategic roadmap.
· Define and improve request management frameworks that align with access control standards and enhance user experience.
· Establish governance metrics, KPIs, KRIs, and reporting for centralized access request processes.
· Support development of business processes and deployment of IAM/security controls to improve IAM maturity.
· Consult on regulatory compliance requirements, reporting, and control alignment with standards such as NIST.
What you need to have to be considered
· 5–8 years of experience in Information Security, IAM, access governance, or related security operations roles.
· Strong hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ, especially Request Management workflows and capabilities.
· Proven experience gathering business requirements and translating them into IAM process/workflow designs.
· Solid understanding of IAM governance, access management controls, IT security standards, and compliance requirements.
· Experience working with Agile delivery models including Kanban and Scrum.
· Ability to define governance metrics, reporting dashboards, KPIs, and KRIs for IAM processes.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business, security, compliance, and engineering teams.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $[78,300 - 105,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
