VMware Aria Automation (vRA) Engineer
Should have strong hands-on experience with VMware Aria Automation (formerly vRealize Automation - vRA) and related VMware cloud automation technologies.
Core Responsibilities & Skills:
- Design, implement, and maintain VMware Aria/vRealize Automation (vRA) environments.
- Create and manage automation blueprints, self-service catalogs, and service offerings.
- Automate virtual machine provisioning, configuration management, and lifecycle operations.
- Integrate vRA with enterprise platforms such as:
- VMware vCenter
- Active Directory
- VMware Aria Suite / vRealize Suite components
- Develop and maintain workflows using VMware Aria Orchestrator (vRO).
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation platform issues, workflow failures, and infrastructure-related incidents.
- Implement and manage role-based access controls (RBAC), governance frameworks, and compliance standards.
- Support and administer VMware infrastructure components including ESXi, vCenter, clusters, templates, and virtualized environments.
- Drive infrastructure automation and cloud orchestration initiatives to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
