Job Summary

An AWS Testing Specialist (Cloud QA Engineer) validates the functionality security performance and scalability of applications and cloud infrastructure deployed on Elasticsearch EMR AWS (S3 Lambda EC2) MQ AWS Aurora DB Python PySpark Kafka Apache Flink experience testing applications and data pipelines in these environments. They bridge traditional software testing with cloud computing ensuring systems are resilient cost-effective and adhere to AWS best practices

AS a AWS QA Testing specialist -Validate the robust cloud native applications using Elasticsearch EMR AWS (S3 Lambda EC2) MQ AWS Aurora DB Python PySpark Kafka Apache Flink experience testing applications and data pipelines in these environments and event driven patterns to support high volume transactional and analytical workloads across multiple business domains.

  • Design comprehensive test plans and provision on-demand test environments using infrastructure-as-a-code tools AWS Glue AWS EMR Apache Spark and Amazon S3 to enable efficient batch and near real time data transformations that power analytics reporting and downstream services.
  • Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks integrating them directly into CI CD pipelines.
  • Validate the integration and behavior of core AWS services such as Amazon EC2 instances S3 storage buckets Lambda functions and RDS databases
  • Identify document and track software or infrastructure defects using bug-tracking systems like Jira analyzing logs via Amazon CloudWatch.
  • Configure and maintain messaging and streaming pipelines using AWS SNS Amazon SQS AWS Kinesis and Amazon MS for Apache Kafka to ensure reliable event delivery back pressure handling and end to end observability.
  • Simulate peak user traffic and evaluate system bottlenecks using tools like JMeter or AWS-native services aligning with cloud performance pillars.
  • Create and enhance AWS Cloud Formation templates to standardize infrastructure as code promote reusable patterns and support consistent provisioning across environments while adhering to organizational governance.
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using AWS IAM by defining granular roles policies and permissions that protect critical data assets and services while supporting least privilege access.
  • Design and tune data models and access patterns in Amazon Dynamo DB to deliver predictable performance efficient queries and cost optimized storage for high throughput applications.
  • Build automated CI and CD workflows leveraging AWS DevOps toolsets to enable reliable deployments environment consistency rollback capabilities and rapid iteration aligned with modern engineering practices. -Monitor application and data pipeline health using AWS native tools and logging frameworks to proactively identify performance bottlenecks optimize resource utilization and reduce incident frequency and impact.
  • Collaborate with architects product teams and other engineers in a hybrid work model to refine requirements propose cloud first solutions and support iterative delivery that aligns with business priorities. -Conduct code reviews share best practices for Python Spark and AWS services and contribute to internal knowledge repositories to elevate overall engineering quality and consistency.
  • Ensure solutions comply with enterprise security compliance and resilience standards by applying encryption backup strategies disaster recovery patterns and rigorous testing practices.
  • Analyze existing data and integration solutions to identify modernization opportunities recommend cost optimization approaches and guide migrations toward managed and serverless AWS services.
  • Document design decisions data flows operational runbooks and troubleshooting guides to support efficient onboarding production support and long term maintainability in a no travel context.

    • Qualifications

  • Apply extensive professional experience of six to ten years in software Testing and Automation to interpret complex business needs and translate them into resilient maintainable and testable cloud based solutions.
  • Utilize deep knowledge of key AWS services including Lambda SNS SQS S3 Glue EMR Kinesis IAM and Dynamo DB to architect integrated solutions that are secure highly available and cost efficient.
  • Exhibit practical experience with AWS DevOps practices by configuring pipelines managing environments and applying continuous integration and delivery principles to cloud initiatives.
  • Show experience with streaming and messaging frameworks such as Amazon MS for Apache Kafka and related AWS services to support scalable event processing and data streaming patterns.
  • Apply working knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as AWS Cloud Formation to define version and manage cloud resources using repeatable and auditable configurations.

    • Certifications Required

    AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty or equivalent advanced AWS certification.
