Job Summary

Sr Product Specialist T will design and optimize product solutions that support utility operations while working in a hybrid day shift model with no travel expectations. The role uses SQL Python JavaScript and IBM Maximo Asset Management to enhance asset management capabilities streamline workflows and improve reliability for utility clients and communities.


Responsibilities

  • Drive end to end product solutioning for utility asset management initiatives by configuring IBM Maximo Asset Management to improve asset reliability and operational continuity across critical infrastructure assets.
  • Optimize complex data workflows by designing robust SQL queries and data models that enable accurate asset performance analysis regulatory reporting and actionable insights for utility stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain Python based tools and automation scripts that streamline data ingestion cleansing and transformation processes supporting scalable analytics and decision making in utility operations.
  • Create and enhance JavaScript based user interface components that deliver intuitive and responsive experiences for utility planners maintenance personnel and decision makers using asset management applications.
  • Collaborate with cross functional utility business teams to translate regulatory requirements maintenance strategies and asset lifecycle needs into clear product features and IBM Maximo configurations that deliver measurable value.
  • Analyze asset failure patterns and maintenance history using SQL and Python to propose data driven improvements to preventive maintenance strategies and condition based monitoring within utility environments.
  • Configure IBM Maximo Asset Management modules including work management asset registry and inventory to align with utility specific processes ensuring compliance and consistency across distributed sites.
  • Coordinate hybrid working activities by effectively planning onsite collaboration and remote delivery to maintain continuity of day shift operations while supporting global utility stakeholders through digital channels.
  • Document detailed technical designs configuration decisions and integration patterns for SQL databases Python services and JavaScript interfaces to ensure long term maintainability and smooth onboarding of new team members.
  • Partner with utility operations teams to refine product backlogs prioritizing enhancements that reduce downtime improve safety and strengthen service reliability for communities served by the utility.
  • Monitor product performance metrics across asset management workflows identifying bottlenecks and recommending technical improvements that enhance scalability and response times for high volume utility operations.
  • Support quality assurance efforts by creating test data sets validating SQL and Python logic and reviewing IBM Maximo configurations to ensure defect free releases and stable production behavior.
  • Guide stakeholders through demonstrations and walkthroughs of new asset management features illustrating how the solutions support sustainable utility operations and more resilient communities.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrate extensive hands on experience using SQL to design complex queries optimize database performance and support reporting needs for asset intensive utility operations.
  • Apply strong Python expertise to build automation utilities implement data processing pipelines and integrate analytical models tailored to the decision support needs of utility organizations.
  • Utilize advanced JavaScript skills to construct interactive front end components and workflow visualizations that simplify user tasks within asset management platforms used by utility personnel.
  • Show deep proficiency in IBM Maximo Asset Management including configuration of core modules workflow setup and integration with enterprise systems in a utility context.
  • Bring solid domain understanding of utilities including asset lifecycle concepts regulatory considerations outage management practices and reliability objectives that inform product decisions.
  • Exhibit experience operating in a hybrid working model managing time effectively across onsite collaborations and remote delivery while maintaining consistent day shift availability.


Certifications Required

Preferred certifications include IBM Certified Deployment Professional Maximo Asset Management and relevant SQL or Python professional certifications.
