Job Description
We are seeking a Senior .NET Production Support Engineer (GCP) with strong experience in C#, .NET/Core, cloud operations, and production issue resolution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and supporting critical production applications, managing cloud workloads, troubleshooting complex system issues, and delivering application enhancements while ensuring stability, reliability, and operational excellence.
This role requires a combination of application support, cloud operations, incident management, and .NET development skills in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support production applications, including APIs, worker services, and background jobs.
- Monitor messaging topics, subscriptions, and associated Dead Letter Queues (DLQs) to ensure successful message delivery.
- Implement application enhancements, resolve defects, and manage version upgrades for .NET-based applications.
- Handle Incident and Change Management activities through ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and ensure timely ticket resolution.
- Collaborate with application, product, QA, and deployment teams to support releases and testing activities.
- Manage and monitor Google Cloud Platform (GCP) workloads and investigate traffic anomalies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving email delivery services, database synchronization mismatches, and service integrations.
- Coordinate with database teams to execute SQL scripts, compare and reconcile records, and ensure data consistency.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for automation tools, operational processes, fixes, and support procedures.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $50,000 and $70,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
