Test Manager - Data Quality & Data Governance Testing
About the Role
As a Test Manager - Data Quality & Data Governance Testing, you will make an impact by leading end-to-end testing initiatives across Ataccama, Collibra, and Snowflake environments to ensure data quality, governance, and regulatory compliance. You will be a valued member of the Data Management and Quality Engineering team and work collaboratively with Data Engineers, Data Governance teams, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to deliver trusted, high-quality data solutions.
In this role, you will drive testing strategy, quality assurance processes, automation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure accurate, reliable, and scalable data platforms that support critical business decisions.
In This Role, You Will
- Lead end-to-end testing of Data Quality (DQ) solutions across Ataccama, Collibra, and Snowflake environments.
- Validate Data Quality rules, business definitions, metadata, governance policies, and data lineage to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Execute data ingestion, transformation, and reconciliation testing to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of enterprise data.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for DQ validation, metadata testing, and data pipeline verification.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Governance, and Business teams to identify defects, resolve quality issues, and support successful release delivery.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience leading testing efforts for enterprise data platforms, data governance solutions, and data quality initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with Ataccama Data Quality and Collibra Data Governance platforms.
- Strong understanding of data quality testing, data validation, data profiling, and reconciliation methodologies.
- Experience validating data ingestion pipelines and data transformations within Snowflake environments.
- Knowledge of metadata management, business glossaries, data lineage, data governance policies, and compliance requirements.
- Experience developing and executing test strategies, test plans, test cases, and defect management processes.
- Strong SQL skills and experience performing complex data validation and verification activities.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including data engineering, governance, and business teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience developing automated testing frameworks for data quality and data governance platforms.
- Experience implementing test automation for Snowflake data validation, Ataccama rule testing, and Collibra metadata verification.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and quality engineering best practices.
- Experience with enterprise data management, master data management (MDM), and data governance programs.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures.
- Experience supporting large-scale data transformation or modernization initiatives.
- Relevant certifications in software testing, data quality, data governance, Snowflake, Ataccama, or Collibra.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is anticipated to be between $108,000 and $125,000, depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, skills, and other job-related factors.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
