Job Summary
The Consulting Director will drive complex IT consulting engagements for global clients shaping strategic technology roadmaps and delivering measurable business outcomes. This hybrid day shift role focuses on advisory excellence governance of large transformation programs and mentoring senior consultants to ensure consistent value delivery and long term client impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead large scale IT consulting engagements that align client technology strategies with business objectives ensuring measurable improvements in efficiency resilience and innovation.
- Oversee end to end engagement delivery from discovery and assessment through solution design and execution oversight maintaining high standards of consulting quality and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Drive development of comprehensive IT operating models and governance frameworks that help clients optimize decision making risk management and technology investment outcomes.
- Provide expert guidance on enterprise architecture and application portfolios recommending modernization approaches that balance cost performance and future scalability.
- Direct multidisciplinary consulting teams by setting clear objectives clarifying methodologies and enabling consistent delivery of structured analysis and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with client executives and senior managers to prioritize initiatives build consensus around strategic technology choices and secure sponsorship for transformational programs.
- Guide the creation of robust business cases for major IT initiatives by quantifying value drivers defining key performance indicators and articulating long term benefits for the organization and its stakeholders.
- Shape and refine consulting methodologies templates and knowledge assets so that engagements are repeatable data driven and aligned with industry best practices in IT advisory.
- Manage engagement financials through accurate forecasting prudent cost control and disciplined change management ensuring sustainable profitability while meeting client expectations.
- Coordinate hybrid work practices across onsite and remote consulting activities using structured communication routines and collaboration tools to maintain alignment and productivity.
- Promote responsible and secure use of technology by embedding risk assessment compliance checks and data protection considerations into all consulting recommendations.
- Support business development activities by contributing thought leadership crafting compelling proposals and participating in strategic client presentations focused on complex IT challenges.
- Ensure that consulting outcomes create positive societal impact by recommending inclusive and accessible technology solutions that improve services for diverse user communities.
Qualifications
- Possess extensive IT consulting experience in complex enterprise environments demonstrating mastery of advisory practices in strategy architecture and transformation for at least two decades.
- Exhibit strong familiarity with hybrid work models in consulting contexts using structured workflows and collaborative platforms to keep distributed teams aligned and productive.
- Demonstrate advanced expertise in IT strategy enterprise architecture and operating model design enabling the creation of executable roadmaps that connect technology initiatives with business value.
- Show proven capability in stakeholder management and executive communication translating technical complexities into clear narratives that support informed decision making.
- Apply rigorous analytical skills and structured problem solving approaches using qualitative and quantitative techniques to validate recommendations and estimate impact.
- Display solid understanding of risk compliance and information security considerations in digital transformation work embedding appropriate controls within proposed solutions.
- Bring experience with industry standard consulting frameworks and project delivery practices enabling consistent engagement planning progress tracking and quality assurance.
- Cultivate mentoring and coaching habits that support the growth of senior consultants encouraging continuous learning and sharing of IT consulting insights across the practice.
