Job Summary
Contribute as a systems engineer focused on Windows environments networking fundamentals and remote desktop support for a global multinational organization operating in a hybrid work model. Deliver reliable day time support to end users enhance system stability and ensure secure connectivity while collaborating with cross functional teams to improve service quality and business continuity.
Responsibilities
- Provide proactive systems engineering support for Windows based endpoints and servers to ensure consistent performance reliability and secure operation for business critical activities.
- Manage daily desktop support tasks in a hybrid work context by resolving incidents and service requests efficiently to maintain high user satisfaction and minimal disruption.
- Troubleshoot networking issues related to connectivity performance and access control to keep internal systems and cloud services available and responsive.
- Coordinate remote assistance sessions for geographically distributed team members using secure support tools to diagnose and remediate technical issues without onsite visits.
- Monitor system health indicators such as resource utilization patch status and error logs to identify emerging problems early and prevent impact on business processes.
- Document incident resolutions configuration changes and technical procedures in clear knowledge articles to support continuous improvement and consistent future handling of similar issues.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to implement approved configurations for Windows systems and networks that align with enterprise policies and regulatory expectations.
- Execute day shift operational tasks including user account provisioning access adjustments and routine maintenance activities to ensure smooth start of daily operations across departments.
- Apply standard change management practices for system and network updates by validating changes performing controlled deployments and confirming post implementation stability.
- Assist in deployment and optimization of remote collaboration tools and endpoint management solutions so that hybrid workers can operate securely from office and home locations.
- Support antivirus endpoint protection and basic security controls on Windows devices to reduce vulnerabilities and contribute to the company commitment to safeguarding client and employee data.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand recurring pain points in desktop and network usage and propose practical improvements that enhance productivity and service reliability.
- Participate in small scale systems enhancement initiatives where configuration tuning and process refinements directly improve operational efficiency and the overall technology experience for society facing services.
Qualifications
- Possess hands on experience managing Windows operating systems including installation configuration user environment setup and routine maintenance in an enterprise context.
- Demonstrate solid understanding of networking concepts such as IP addressing routing switching DNS and basic firewall rules sufficient to investigate and resolve connectivity issues.
- Bring practical desktop support experience covering hardware peripherals common office applications remote access tools and endpoint security utilities for hybrid workers.
- Show familiarity with remote support platforms and ticketing systems enabling structured incident handling clear communication and traceable resolution activities.
- Exhibit problem solving skills and attention to detail when analyzing logs symptoms and user reports to identify root causes and prevent recurring system or network problems.
- Display collaborative working style with cross functional technology teams and business users ensuring that technical solutions align with organizational objectives and deliver tangible value.
- Prefer exposure to enterprise environment standards such as centralized authentication configuration management and patching approaches that scale across many Windows endpoints.
