Job Summary
Join a global technology company as a PE Maps associate focused on improving the accuracy and quality of map related content for Thai speaking markets while working from the office during day shifts and without travel requirements. You will review analyze and refine mapping data while using Thai Malay and English language skills to support customer experience and location based services.
Responsibilities
- Review digital map content for Thai speaking regions and verify its accuracy against defined guidelines to ensure reliable navigation and location based services for users
- Analyze reported issues in mapping data and categorize them precisely so that downstream engineering and operations teams can resolve them efficiently and consistently
- Validate points of interest such as businesses landmarks and public facilities in Thai language sources to improve search relevance and user satisfaction across multiple platforms
- Update and maintain geographic attributes including names addresses and classifications in mapping tools so that customers receive precise and contextually correct information
- Collaborate with cross functional team members through clear written updates in English and Malay to support smooth workflows and timely resolution of mapping and support tickets
- Document recurring data quality patterns in concise reports so that process owners can refine rules and improve mapping algorithms for long term quality gains
- Respond to internal customer support queries about mapping related issues in Thai to provide clear explanations and set accurate expectations on resolution timelines
- Apply domain understanding of customer support practices to handle mapping escalations with empathy and consistency while maintaining service level commitments
- Perform quality checks on completed map edits using structured checklists to confirm adherence to standards and reduce error rates in production data
- Use internal tools dashboards and query interfaces to track individual productivity and quality metrics and to support continuous improvement efforts for the team
- Communicate potential content risks or culturally sensitive references found in Thai Malay or English sources to ensure that mapping outputs respect local norms and company policies
- Contribute ideas for process optimization by sharing observations from day to day map review tasks so that operations become more efficient and scalable
- Maintain strict data confidentiality and comply with all security and compliance requirements while handling map content and customer related information in office systems
Qualifications
- Demonstrate native level fluency in Thai across reading writing and speaking to review complex map content and customer feedback with high accuracy
- Show working proficiency in Malay for reading writing and speaking to interpret regional references and support communication with internal stakeholders when needed
- Exhibit solid command of English in reading writing and speaking to follow global process documentation participate in training and collaborate with multinational colleagues
- Display strong attention to detail and analytical thinking so that subtle inconsistencies in addresses names and locations are identified and corrected effectively
- Apply basic customer support concepts such as clear communication empathy and issue categorization to manage internal mapping queries and feedback efficiently
- Adapt quickly to new tools workflows and quality standards in a fast paced office environment while managing day shift responsibilities consistently within defined timelines
Certifications Required
Thai language proficiency certification or equivalent plus any mapping or GIS fundamentals course is preferred
