Role Summary:
Location- Bangalore
We are looking for an engineer with 5+ years of automotive testing experience to validate telematics and connected vehicle features across bench, HIL, lab car, and vehicle environments. The candidate should be hands-on in requirement-based testing, diagnostics, network analysis, issue debugging, and validation reporting.
Key Responsibilities
· Analyze system requirements, feature specifications, interface documents, and use cases. · Prepare and execute test plans, test cases, validation reports, and requirement traceability. · Validate telematics features such as eCall/bCall, remote vehicle operations, OTA, vehicle health, connected services, GPS/GNSS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular connectivity. · Perform system, integration, functional, regression, and end-to-end validation on bench, HIL, lab car, prototype, and vehicle setups. | · Validate data flow across vehicle ECU, TCU, mobile app, backend, and cloud interfaces. · Analyze CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDS, DoIP, and OBD communication logs. · Reproduce defects, analyze traces/DTCs/logs, perform root cause analysis, and support defect triage. · Coordinate with development, systems, supplier, and customer teams for closure of validation issues. |

Expected Profile for 5-Year Candidate
· Minimum 3 years of direct exposure to telematics, connected vehicle, infotainment, or ECU validation.
· Hands-on experience with CANoe/CANalyzer and vehicle network troubleshooting.
· Experience in vehicle-level or bench/HIL validation and defect lifecycle management.
· Strong debugging mindset, clear documentation, and ability to communicate with global stakeholders.
