About the Role
As a Project Cost & Budget Management Specialist – EBS Project Collaboration, you will drive impactful contributions and focus on outcomes. You will be a key member of the project finance and business systems team, collaborating with project managers, finance partners, and cross-functional stakeholders. You will have the autonomy to lead, innovate, and improve financial management workflows while upholding our commitment to quality and continuous learning.
In this role, you will:
- Manage end-to-end project cost tracking activities within enterprise business systems to ensure accurate expense allocation and clear visibility into financial performance across initiatives.
- Oversee budget planning and forecasting activities for multiple concurrent projects, validating estimates and aligning projected spend with approved funding thresholds.
- Provide detailed variance analysis comparing actual costs, forecasts, and budgets to identify trends, highlight risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project managers and finance stakeholders to establish and maintain accurate cost baselines and budget structures.
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and performance summaries that support informed decision-making by project and senior leadership teams.
What You Must Have to Be Considered
- Strong experience in project cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis within enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) and project collaboration tools supporting cost and budget management.
- Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet analysis, financial modeling, and enterprise reporting solutions.
- Solid understanding of project management principles, including scope, schedule, budgeting, change control, and resource planning.
- Experience performing variance analysis, financial governance reviews, and compliance monitoring.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain complex financial information to technical and non-technical audiences.
- High attention to detail with the ability to validate financial data, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate project records.
- Ability to work effectively in large, multinational organizations with complex approval and governance structures.
