About the Role
As a Facets Configuration Analyst, you will make an impact by supporting healthcare payer clients through Facets configuration, benefits administration, provider contract setup, pricing configuration, and claims adjudication optimization. You will be a valued member of the Healthcare Technology team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, operations teams, claims analysts, and client partners to deliver high-quality configuration solutions that improve system performance and operational efficiency. In this role, you will:
- Configure and maintain Facets Group, Class, Plan, Product, Benefits, Service Groups, Fee Tables, Workflow, and related configuration components for new implementations and existing health plan environments.
- Interpret provider and reimbursement contracts and configure pricing requirements within the Facets NetworX module to support accurate claims processing.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve claims adjudication and claim pend issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective configuration solutions.
- Perform backend data analysis and SQL query validation to verify configuration accuracy and ensure alignment with claims processing requirements.
- Partner with business stakeholders and clients to recommend optimal configuration approaches and support informed decision-making.
- Identify and implement configuration enhancements that improve auto-adjudication rates, operational efficiency, and overall claims performance.
- Support Medicare and Medicaid line of business requirements, ensuring configurations comply with program-specific regulations and business rules.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
- 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring the TriZetto Facets platform in a healthcare payer environment.
- Strong experience configuring Group, Class, Plan, Product, Benefits, Provider Contracts, Pricing, Service Groups, Fee Tables, Workflow, CMU, and related Facets modules.
- Proven experience interpreting provider reimbursement contracts and translating business requirements into Facets configuration solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Facets backend functionality, including SQL query development, configuration validation, and claims processing analysis.
- Experience troubleshooting claim adjudication, claim pend, and configuration-related issues.
- Demonstrated experience supporting Medicare and Medicaid lines of business.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business users, operations teams, and clients to deliver scalable healthcare payer solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
These Will Help You Stand Out
- Experience with Facets NetworX configuration and provider pricing setups.
- Knowledge of healthcare claims payment methodologies and reimbursement models.
- Experience supporting large-scale Facets implementations or migration initiatives.
- Understanding of healthcare payer operations, benefits administration, and claims lifecycle processes.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements impacting Medicare and Medicaid programs.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $67,000 - $79,000 CAD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
