Cognizant is seeking an IT Support Technician for a full- time opportunity in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The role needs to work onsite from our client’s office in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US. Cognizant will not offer visa sponsorship now or anytime in the future.
Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for IT support through walk-up, phone, remote, chat, and email channels.
Deliver excellent customer service by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving end-user technical issues.
Prioritize and manage multiple incidents while adhering to SOPs and support guidelines.
Provide users with accurate information on IT products and services and guide them through issue resolution.
Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate support teams and ensure timely follow-up.
Maintain accurate case and task updates, customer communications, and issue documentation.
Support asset lifecycle management, including desk setup/collection, inventory management, shipping/receiving, audits, smart lockers, IT vending machines, and printer support.
Provide Level 1 Audio-Visual (AV) support for conferencing systems, meeting rooms, event spaces, and related troubleshooting.
Perform end-user network troubleshooting using standard diagnostic tools and best practices.
Manage logistics activities, including supply ordering, storage audits, and helpdesk operations.
Qualifications:
2 plus years of experience with Deskside Support including Windows Administration and Mac OS Support.
Hands on experience with IT Service Desk, incident, and change management.
Experience with Asset Management, Inventory Management, Supply Chain / Logistics Support, Printer configuration & troubleshooting.
Experience with Audio Visual, Video Conferencing Support, Network troubleshooting and MDM.
