About the Role
The Senior OutSystems Developer responsible for designing, developing, and supporting secure, scalable, and maintainable OutSystems applications and integrations. Leverage expertise in the OutSystems platform, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, and application lifecycle management to deliver high-quality digital solutions that support complex business processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build innovative applications, drive operational efficiency, and enhance business value.
In This Role, You Will:
• Design and develop robust OutSystems applications that address complex business requirements while ensuring scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Develop and optimize server-side and client-side functionality using SQL, JavaScript, and CSS to create responsive and intuitive user experiences.
• Configure and manage the OutSystems Source Repository, maintain code quality, version control standards, and effective collaboration across development teams.
• Administer OutSystems LifeTime to support application lifecycle management activities, including deployments, environment synchronization, versioning, monitoring, and release governance.
• Build and maintain integrations between OutSystems applications and internal or external systems using secure APIs, web services, and enterprise integration patterns.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
• Hands-on experience with OutSystems development and application support.
• Strong expertise with OutSystems Service Studio, Integration Studio, Source Repository, and LifeTime.
• Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, CSS, and modern web application development.
• Experience developing Custom Services, integrations, APIs, and web services within the OutSystems platform.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, security, performance tuning, and scalable solution design.
• Experience with software development lifecycle processes, source control, deployment management, and agile delivery methodologies.
These Will Help You Stand Out
• OutSystems Professional or Expert Developer Certification.
• Experience working in financial services, banking, insurance, or other regulated industries.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with enterprise application modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
Salary and Other Compensation
Applications will be accepted until 10/30/2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 - $140,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
