About the role

As a Senior PHP Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and digital platforms using modern PHP frameworks and content management systems. You will contribute to architecture discussions, technical solution design, and the delivery of high-quality software solutions in a collaborative environment.

  • Develop and enhance applications, websites, and digital solutions using PHP, Drupal, Laravel, and Craft CMS.
  • Participate in technical design and architecture discussions, providing recommendations on best practices and implementation approaches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
  • Maintain technical documentation and ensure adherence to coding standards and development best practices.
  • Support application optimization, deployments, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Work Model

Hybrid – This role is based in São Paulo (Morumbi), Brazil, with a hybrid work arrangement combining onsite collaboration and remote flexibility. Associates are expected to work closely with cross-functional teams while benefiting from a balanced and flexible work environment.

What you need to have to be considered

  • 7+ years of experience in software development with PHP.
  • Strong experience with PHP frameworks and CMS platforms, including Drupal, Laravel, and Craft CMS.
  • Solid understanding of web application architecture, MVC frameworks, and software design principles.
  • Experience with Git version control.
  • Experience working in Linux environments.
  • Experience with Containers/Docker.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced English communication skills.

These will help you stand out

  • Experience with WordPress.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, SASS, Bootstrap, and MySQL.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered development tools and code-generation platforms.
  • Experience within the Healthcare Payer domain.
