Job Summary
Test Analyst role in a multinational organization focusing on automation testing using Selenium and Java for complex enterprise applications in a hybrid work model. The analyst will design robust test strategies create and maintain automated regression suites and collaborate with cross functional teams to enhance product quality improve reliability and support secure and seamless card and payment services for global customers.
Responsibilities
- Design and refine comprehensive test strategies and plans that maximize automation coverage for web and backend applications using Selenium and Java while aligning with business priorities in a hybrid work environment.
- Develop maintain and optimize scalable automation frameworks and reusable scripts that enable efficient regression and smoke testing and reduce manual effort across multiple releases and projects.
- Execute automated test suites monitor test runs and validate test results to quickly identify defects performance bottlenecks and integration issues before they reach production environments.
- Analyze complex functional and non functional requirements to derive clear test scenarios test cases and data needs ensuring that critical user journeys and payment flows are thoroughly validated.
- Collaborate closely with developers business analysts and product teams during agile ceremonies to clarify requirements provide early test feedback and support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Investigate defects with a structured approach reproduce issues using automation where feasible document clear defect reports and partner with engineering teams to drive timely resolution and retesting.
- Provide detailed test execution reports automation metrics and trend analysis to stakeholders that highlight product quality status risk areas and recommendations for improvement.
- Enhance existing automation assets by refactoring scripts improving locator strategies and applying coding best practices in Java to boost reliability maintainability and execution speed.
- Support test data management activities by designing data sets that represent diverse customer behaviors and edge cases with particular attention to card and payment scenarios when applicable.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by assessing current test processes identifying automation opportunities and proposing pragmatic changes that increase efficiency and reduce defects in production.
- Coordinate with environment and DevOps teams to ensure stable test environments optimal configuration of automation tools and smooth integration of test suites into build and deployment pipelines.
- Document automation standards coding conventions and test guidelines to promote consistent practices across the test team and facilitate onboarding of new team members.
- Engage in root cause analysis sessions for critical incidents and production defects to derive actionable testing enhancements and strengthen coverage for future releases.
Qualifications
- Apply strong hands on experience in automation testing with Selenium and Java to design robust scripts and frameworks that deliver reliable test coverage across multiple applications.
- Use solid understanding of software testing concepts including test design techniques defect life cycle and regression strategy to implement structured and effective test approaches.
- Leverage practical exposure to cards and payments domain when available to validate transaction flows settlement processes and risk controls in a manner that aligns with industry regulations.
- Demonstrate familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative tools to work efficiently in cross functional teams and adapt automation assets to frequent requirement changes.
- Utilize experience in hybrid work settings to coordinate communication documentation and test delivery across onsite and remote stakeholders without impacting timelines.
- Apply analytical and problem solving skills to interpret complex functional specifications identify potential quality gaps and design automated scenarios that address high risk areas.
