Job Summary

This hybrid role focuses on guiding complex SAP Commerce and SAP ABAP solutions for supply planning and production domains within a global applications landscape. The Applications Technical Lead will drive design configuration and integration of SAP Commerce OMS and ABAP workflows to optimize order management and planning processes. Responsibilities

  • Drive end to end technical design and implementation of SAP Commerce OMS solutions that streamline order capture allocation and fulfillment across supply planning and production processes
  • Oversee configuration and optimization of SAP Commerce OMS functional components to ensure accurate inventory visibility and reliable order orchestration for global business users
  • Provide deep expertise in SAP ABAP DDIC to design robust data structures that support high performance transactional processing and analytics for planning and production scenarios
  • Develop and maintain SAP ABAP Query solutions that deliver actionable operational insights to planners and production teams while respecting data governance practices
  • Implement and refine SAP ABAP Workflow solutions that automate approvals exceptions and escalations within order management and supply planning lifecycles
  • Coordinate hybrid work model collaboration by facilitating clear communication routines between onsite and remote stakeholders to maintain continuity of technical delivery
  • Ensure integration consistency between SAP Commerce OMS and core ERP modules so that master data orders and planning results flow reliably across the applications ecosystem
  • Guide solution reviews and technical impact assessments to align application changes with long term supply planning and production roadmaps and enterprise architecture standards
  • Collaborate with functional experts in supply planning and production to translate domain requirements into precise technical specifications and testable solution designs
  • Mentor developers and analysts on best practices for SAP Commerce OMS and SAP ABAP components while promoting reusable patterns and high coding quality
  • Conduct root cause analysis for complex incidents in order management and planning processes and implement sustainable corrective actions that reduce recurring issues
  • Optimize performance and scalability of SAP Commerce OMS and ABAP based solutions to support peak production periods and fluctuating demand while maintaining user experience quality
  • Align day shift delivery activities with release cycles and change management processes to minimize disruption to business operations and ensure predictable deployments


Qualifications

  • Demonstrate extensive hands on experience in SAP Commerce OMS functional configuration and solution design supporting order management scenarios in manufacturing or supply centric environments
  • Exhibit strong proficiency in SAP Commerce OMS core capabilities including order routing inventory reservation and integration with backend systems for supply planning and production
  • Apply advanced skills in SAP ABAP DDIC to architect stable and scalable data models that support complex planning objects and production orders
  • Utilize SAP ABAP Query expertise to build flexible reporting views that help stakeholders monitor supply planning performance production efficiency and order fulfillment metrics
  • Leverage SAP ABAP Workflow capabilities to design automated business processes that coordinate approvals tasks and notifications across planning and production teams
  • Display solid domain experience in supply planning and production operations including familiarity with demand planning constraints capacity considerations and shop floor execution flows
  • Operate effectively within a hybrid work model by using collaboration tools structured communication and disciplined documentation practices to keep global teams aligned


Certifications Required

SAP Certified Development Associate ABAP with SAP NetWeaver and SAP Commerce certification preferred
