About the role
As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting scalable enterprise applications that enable critical business capabilities. You will be a valued member of the engineering team and work collaboratively with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and modern full-stack technologies.
- Build and support microservices-based applications using Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and related Spring technologies.
- Develop responsive and scalable user interfaces using Angular and/or React.
- Design, develop, integrate, and secure RESTful APIs using modern authentication and authorization frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions in an Agile environment.
- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, performance optimization, and production support activities.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and DevOps best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and promote software engineering best practices across the team.

Work Authorization

What you need to have to be considered
- 6+ years of software development experience with strong proficiency in Java development and object-oriented programming principles.
- Hands-on experience developing microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
- Strong experience building modern web applications using Angular and/or React.
- Proven experience designing and securing RESTful APIs using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL optimization, and ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, source control systems, automated testing frameworks, and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
These will help you stand out
- Experience supporting applications within the Banking and Financial Services industry.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar DevOps tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities.
- Experience working in fast-paced enterprise Agile environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Salary Transparency
Ontario Pay Transparency
The annual base salary for this position is expected to be between CAD $60,300- CAD $95,500, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors. Compensation decisions are based on several factors, including market conditions and internal equity.
