Job Summary
This role focuses on executing and optimizing integrated logistics and transportation management system operations for global clients in a hybrid and night shift work model. The Sr Process Executive will manage shipment planning tracking and exception handling while ensuring service quality cost efficiency and process accuracy. The role supports continuous improvement of logistics workflows and contributes to reliable and sustainable supply chain performance for the company and its customer
Responsibilities
- Manage daily transportation management system activities to ensure accurate shipment planning tendering and execution across integrated logistics workflows supporting reliable delivery performance for client operations and end customers.
- Coordinate closely with internal operations teams and external logistics partners to resolve shipment exceptions and delays maintaining clear communication and timely updates that protect service quality and client commitments.
- Monitor shipment status milestones and documentation within the transportation management system ensuring data integrity and proactive issue escalation to reduce operational risks and avoid avoidable costs.
- Analyze logistics data and transaction patterns in the transportation management system to identify recurring process gaps and improvement opportunities that enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Apply knowledge of road and intermodal transportation practices to support routing decisions mode selection and capacity utilization contributing to more sustainable and cost effective logistics solutions where domain exposure is available.
- Execute standardized process workflows and operating procedures for integrated logistics maintaining strict adherence to compliance requirements and client specific guidelines to safeguard operational reliability.
- Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders such as customer service planning and finance teams to ensure alignment of logistics activities with broader supply chain objectives and smooth downstream processing.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by documenting observed issues proposing practical process enhancements and participating in pilot activities that refine transportation management system usage and logistics execution quality.
- Utilize available reporting tools and dashboards within the transportation management system to track key performance indicators preparing concise operational summaries that inform data driven decisions by supervisors and client representatives.
- Maintain strong focus on quality and accuracy in all data entry shipment updates and workflow actions to minimize rework support audit readiness and uphold the company reputation for dependable logistics delivery.
- Adapt effectively to night shift operations and hybrid work arrangements by practicing structured task management responsive communication and disciplined handover routines that ensure continuity between shifts and locations.
- Engage in knowledge sharing with peers by documenting best practices contributing to process manuals and supporting new team members in understanding integrated logistics concepts and system functionalities.
- Safeguard customer trust and societal impact by supporting logistics flows that enable timely delivery of essential goods and services thereby contributing to resilient supply chains and responsible business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Show proficiency in integrated logistics operations by demonstrating hands on experience with transportation management systems including shipment creation tendering status updates and exception handling.
- Display familiarity with road and intermodal transportation concepts such as lane structures transit times equipment types and consolidation practices using this understanding to support effective routing decisions when applicable.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem solving capabilities through accurate interpretation of logistics data identification of process bottlenecks and recommendation of practical corrective actions.
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid and night shift environment by managing priorities maintaining service levels and coordinating effectively across remote and onsite stakeholders.
- Show commitment to process discipline and compliance by following documented operating procedures recording actions systematically in the transportation management system and supporting audit ready documentation practices.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in written and verbal form with internal teams and external logistics partners ensuring that shipment updates issue descriptions and resolutions are easy to understand and action.
- Exhibit adaptability to new tools and process enhancements by learning updated transportation management system features incorporating feedback from supervisors and adjusting workflows to match evolving client requirements.
Certifications Required
Preferred certifications include logistics or supply chain credentials such as Certified in Logistics Transportation and Distribution or equivalent.
