Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Infra. Architect with 17 to 19 years of experience specializing in z/OS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining complex infrastructure solutions that align with our companys strategic goals. This role requires a deep understanding of z/OS and the ability to lead large-scale projects to successful completion.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of complex infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Oversee the maintenance and optimization of z/OS systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster skill development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure solutions with other IT systems.
  • Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to maintain optimal system health.
  • Develop and enforce infrastructure best practices and standards to ensure compliance and security.
  • Manage infrastructure projects from inception to completion ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to z/OS systems to minimize downtime.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for all infrastructure solutions and processes.
  • Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and tested regularly.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on infrastructure status and project progress.
  • Participate in capacity planning and scalability assessments to support future growth.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess extensive experience in designing and implementing z/OS infrastructure solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Show proficiency in project management and the ability to lead large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Have a deep understanding of infrastructure best practices and security standards.
  • Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends.

    Certified z/OS Systems Programmer Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
