Deskside Support Technician (d/f/m)

Location: Schwabenheim an der Selz, Germany

The Opportunity:

Looking for a Deskside Support Technician (d/f/m) with Experience on End User Computing, Field Services with Good customer handling and German and English communication skills.

Your Key Result Areas:

• Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability by end users

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for windows workstations and mobility support/management

• Should have practitioner level knowledge in SCCM 2012 and O365

• Should be proficient command languages for remotely installing and managing the applications

• Repair or replace damaged hardware like laptops/desktops/iPad

• Upgrade the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers as per client standards

• Installing and upgrading anti-virus software on the computer to ensure security standards are met as defined by client

• Perform tests and evaluations on new software and hardware for windows

• Provide support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting/ticket management skills

• Establish good rapport with all departments and colleagues

• Candidate should be ok to travel between multiple client sites within Ireland, as and when required.

• Conduct daily ticket/queue management

• Manage Inventory – Create Forecast for the upcoming months and order the hardware based on the requirements

• Shipment Tracking – Tracking vendor shipment tracking for the orders placed

Your Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field

· Good customer handling and communication skills,

· Stong knowledge on tools like Ticket handlng tools, MS office applications, SCCM

· Fair Knowledge about Networking like Switches, routers and firewalls

· Good knowledge about Nexthink

· Basic knowledge about Automation

· Ready to give innovative Ideas to improve services.

· Fluency in German and English languages.

· Travel to different customer sites within Germany when needed.
