Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 5 to 12 years of experience in VDI - Citrix VAD and VDI - Citrix Cloud. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model primarily during the day shift. This role does not require travel. The candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing virtual desktop infrastructure to support business operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of VDI
- Citrix VAD and VDI
- Citrix Cloud solutions to ensure seamless operation.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for VDI-related issues to minimize downtime and enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy VDI solutions that meet organizational needs.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain documentation for VDI configurations processes and procedures.
- Implement security measures to protect VDI environments from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular updates and patches to ensure VDI systems are up-to-date and secure.
- Assist in the planning and execution of VDI-related projects ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Provide training and support to end-users to enhance their understanding and utilization of VDI systems.
- Work closely with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and optimize VDI performance.
- Analyze and report on VDI usage and performance metrics to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in VDI management.
- Support the updating of customer master data and maintaining open invoices as needed.
Qualifications
- Possess extensive experience with VDI
- Citrix VAD and VDI
- Citrix Cloud.
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in VDI environments.
- Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Show proficiency in implementing and managing security measures for VDI systems.
- Have experience in documenting technical processes and procedures.
- Be capable of training and supporting end-users effectively.

The annual salary for this position is between $108,000 - $120,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
