Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with a proven track record of driving strategic decision-making through data-driven insights. Expertise in identifying business needs, translating them into actionable requirements, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a great understanding of B2B businesses, intermediate knowledge in SQL and visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau. This a remote opportunity for Costa Rica.
Responsibilities
● Data Acquisition and Cleaning: Gather relevant customer data from various sources, including CRM systems, Salesloft, multiple data bases, and marketing campaigns, then cleaning and structuring it for model building.
● Model Development: Use statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to build predictive models that calculate the probability of a lead converting into a sale based on partner demographics, behavior patterns, and engagement metrics.
● Model Validation and Optimization: Evaluate the accuracy of the propensity model using various metrics and continuously refining the model based on new data and performance insights.
● Sales Team Integration: Communicate the model's predictions to PDMs and internal teams, providing insights into the most promising leads and provide sales strategies accordingly.
● Collaborate with sales leadership and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable reporting and analysis.
● Conduct ad-hoc analyses to answer specific business questions and provide data-driven recommendations.
● Develop and implement data quality initiatives to ensure accuracy and consistency of sales data.
● Automate reporting processes where possible to improve efficiency..
● Develop and maintain propensity models to identify high-potential leads/Deals and optimize lead/ deal scoring.
● Conduct in-depth analysis of the sales pipeline to identify bottlenecks, track key metrics (e.g., conversion rates, deal size, sales cycle length), and provide recommendations for improvement.
● Develop and maintain pipeline dashboards and reports and provide regular reporting and analysis on sales performance to sales leadership.
● Develop and implement processes and systems to track, monitor, and manage sales performance.
● Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and create dashboards to visualize sales performance against targets.
● Develop and maintain sales forecasting models using various techniques (e.g., time series analysis, regression analysis).
● Analyze historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors to generate accurate sales forecasts.
Required Skills and Experience
● Bachelor's degree in business administration, data science, information systems, or a related field
● Minimum 5 years of experience working in Strategic Sales Data and Business Intelligence Analysis
● Strong knowledge of Advance SQL and Data Visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau
● Experience on B2B companies is a plus
● Ability to bring insights and present data using Google slides
● Manage projects independently with little guidance
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
● The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Experience with statistical modeling and forecasting techniques is a plus
● Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
