Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with 7+ years experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Statistics Azure Open AI Service EDA Airflow Knowledge Graph ML Ops Machine Learning Cloud AutoML Dialogflow OpenCV Artificial Intelligence Natural Language Processing Deep Learning PyTorch AI enabled chatbot Tensorflow R Statistical Package Python and Search Engine Optimization. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of advanced data science models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
  • Oversee the application of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to extract insights from large datasets.
  • Provide expertise in Azure Open AI Service to enhance AI capabilities within the organization.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends patterns and anomalies in data.
  • Utilize Airflow for orchestrating complex data workflows and ensuring data pipeline efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge graphs to improve data connectivity and retrieval.
  • Implement ML Ops practices to streamline the deployment and monitoring of machine learning models.
  • Apply Cloud AutoML to automate the creation of high-quality machine learning models.
  • Leverage Dialogflow to develop and optimize AI-enabled chatbots for enhanced customer interactions.
  • Utilize OpenCV for computer vision tasks and image processing.
  • Apply artificial intelligence and natural language processing techniques to develop innovative solutions.
  • Utilize deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and Tensorflow to build and train neural networks.
  • Use R Statistical Package and Python for data analysis visualization and model development.
  • Optimize search engine performance through advanced SEO techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into business processes.
  • Ensure that data science initiatives align with the companys strategic goals and objectives.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data scientists and team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and AI technologies to continuously improve solutions.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations.
  • Drive innovation and contribute to the companys mission of leveraging data to create a positive impact on society.

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong background in statistics and machine learning.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Azure Open AI Service and EDA.
  • Have experience with Airflow and knowledge graph development.
  • Be proficient in ML Ops and Cloud AutoML.
  • Show proficiency in Dialogflow OpenCV and AI-enabled chatbots.
  • Have a deep understanding of artificial intelligence natural language processing and deep learning.
  • Be skilled in using PyTorch Tensorflow R Statistical Package and Python.
  • Have experience in search engine optimization techniques.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Possess excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Be able to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data science and AI.
  • Demonstrate the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 – $ 135,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
