Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infra Ops Specialist with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Perl VMware PowerShell Splunk Enterprise and Splunk. This role involves working in a hybrid model with rotational shifts. Experience in Structural Biology & Modelling is a plus.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the infrastructure operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Provide expertise in Perl scripting to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage and maintain VMware environments to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Utilize PowerShell for automation and management of infrastructure tasks.
  • Implement and manage Splunk Enterprise for monitoring and analyzing system logs.
  • Use Splunk to identify and troubleshoot issues within the infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
  • Document processes and procedures for future reference.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of infrastructure operations.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess strong experience in Perl scripting for automation.
  • Have extensive knowledge of VMware management and maintenance.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in PowerShell for infrastructure tasks.
  • Show expertise in implementing and managing Splunk Enterprise.
  • Have experience in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues.
  • Nice to have experience in Structural Biology & Modelling.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Possess excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Show commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Adapt to rotational shifts and hybrid work model.
  • Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior team members.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team.
