Job Summary

We are seeking an Automotive Electrical Distribution Systems Engineer with 3 to 7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Catia FMEA Solidworks Creo UG NX and Wire Harness Design. This role requires a strong background in Auto-Detailed design. The position is based in our office and may require travel. Proficiency in English is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems using Catia Solidworks and Creo.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of detailed design documentation and specifications.
  • Provide expertise in FMEA to identify and mitigate potential design risks.
  • Utilize UG NX for advanced mechanical design and simulation tasks.
  • Develop and optimize wire harness designs for automotive applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design requirements are met.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all design activities.
  • Perform detailed analysis and testing to validate design performance and reliability.
  • Support manufacturing teams in resolving design-related issues during production.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance as needed.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and documentation to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering.
  • Should have strong proficiency in Catia Solidworks Creo and UG NX.
  • Must have experience with FMEA and wire harness design.
  • Should have a solid understanding of Auto-Detailed design principles.
  • Must be proficient in English (Read/Write Speak).
  • Should be willing to travel as required.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Should have strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Should have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving design challenges.
  • Must be committed to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Should have a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
