Job Summary
We are seeking an Automotive Electrical Distribution Systems Engineer with 3 to 7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Catia FMEA Solidworks Creo UG NX and Wire Harness Design. This role requires a strong background in Auto-Detailed design. The position is based in our office and may require travel. Proficiency in English is essential.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems using Catia Solidworks and Creo.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of detailed design documentation and specifications.
- Provide expertise in FMEA to identify and mitigate potential design risks.
- Utilize UG NX for advanced mechanical design and simulation tasks.
- Develop and optimize wire harness designs for automotive applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design requirements are met.
- Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve product quality.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all design activities.
- Perform detailed analysis and testing to validate design performance and reliability.
- Support manufacturing teams in resolving design-related issues during production.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance as needed.
- Prepare and present technical reports and documentation to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering.
- Should have strong proficiency in Catia Solidworks Creo and UG NX.
- Must have experience with FMEA and wire harness design.
- Should have a solid understanding of Auto-Detailed design principles.
- Must be proficient in English (Read/Write Speak).
- Should be willing to travel as required.
- Must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Should have strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Should have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving design challenges.
- Must be committed to continuous learning and professional development.
- Should have a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
