As a Senior Developer you will play a pivotal role in designing developing and maintaining robust infrastructure solutions. With a focus on SQL, OCP and Unix Shell scripting knowledge, you will ensure seamless integration and functionality across platforms. This hybrid role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration contributing to the company’s mission of delivering innovative solutions.
In this role, you will
- Self-starter and owning the project completely from use case to deployment.
- Partner with Business and Business analyst to develop a framework solution using various AML regulatory requirements.
- Own the process of gathering, extracting, and compiling data across sources via relevant tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python).
- Develop and maintain infrastructure solutions that meet business needs and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure components.
- Utilize SQL to manage and optimize database performance and reliability.
- Implement and manage Red hat OpenShift environments to support application deployment and scaling.
Required skills: what you need to be considered
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Unix Shell scripting, SQL development (Store procedure, Store function, Triggers) - Working Knowledge
- Experience with handling distributed data sets (HDFS)-- Working Knowledge
- Experience with Scheduler (Any one Autosys or JCL or Stonebranch or ZEKE or Tidal) -Working Knowledge
- Experience in Red hat OpenShift - Working knowledge or Acquired knowledge
- Experience in handling APIs - RESTful services - Working knowledge or Acquired knowledge
Preferred skills: what will help you stand out
- Background in Anti Money Laundering and Fraud Investigation
- Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, Unit testing, Smoke testing, and deployment.
- Experience with DevOps practices such as CI/CD, experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Cloud Based Data Storage solutions (Snowflake)
