As a Senior ForgeRock IAM Engineer, you will make an impact by ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our identity and access management systems. You'll apply your skills in scripting and platform support expertise to automate manual workflows, improve system performance, and contribute to secure infrastructure operations and flawless user experiences. You will be a valued member of our Infrastructure practice and work collaboratively with our Associate Director of Cybersecurity IDAM.
In this role, you will
- Support and maintain access identity systems across production environments using the ForgeRock product suite
- Build and maintain scripts and automation workflows to optimize operational tasks
- Identify, investigate, and resolve issues related to identity access and Java-based software environments
- Participate in on-call rotations, providing timely support and resolution for production incidents
- Contribute to platform upgrades, patches, and improvements with a focus on stability and performance
- Coordinate with engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure standard methodologies are followed across systems
What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)
- A proven track record of 8 or more years with ForgeRock suite such as Identity Gateway, Identity Management, and Access Management.
- Proficiency in Java, experience in development or tooling for Java-based platforms.
- Expert in using Git for version control and collaboration.
- Comfortable with participating in a rotational on-call schedule to support production environments and respond to any critical issues.
What will help you stand out (preferred skills)
- Outstanding experience in Bash or shell scripting for automation.
- Experience managing platforms across cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in a client office in Toronto, ON.
