Job Summary

Serve as a principal architect with deep expertise in cloud platforms data engineering and secure enterprise solutions designing scalable hybrid architectures that align with business processes and transformation goals. Apply advanced skills in DevOps data migration big data and data security to deliver resilient platforms across major cloud providers while supporting industrial and IT business environments.


Responsibilities

  • Design robust end to end solution architectures that integrate applications data platforms and infrastructure across GCP Azure and AWS to meet strategic enterprise objectives while respecting hybrid work practices.
  • Drive holistic cloud adoption strategies that balance performance cost scalability and resilience to ensure platforms can adapt to evolving business and technology demands.
  • Architect secure data migration approaches that move critical datasets from legacy systems to modern cloud data platforms while minimizing downtime and protecting sensitive information.
  • Define big data reference architectures that enable storage processing and analytics of high volume and high velocity datasets to support advanced insights and data driven decision making.
  • Translate complex business processes into clear target state business process models that connect technology capabilities with measurable business outcomes.
  • Establish DevOps standards and reusable patterns covering continuous integration continuous delivery automated testing and environment management to improve delivery speed and reliability.
  • Guide selection and configuration of GCP services Azure services and AWS services that best fit application workloads data pipelines and security posture within organizational constraints.
  • Develop comprehensive data security blueprints that address encryption access control data masking and monitoring to comply with regulatory expectations and internal risk policies.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering product and security teams to validate architecture decisions resolve design risks and ensure that technical solutions remain aligned with business priorities.
  • Review solution designs implementation artifacts and code level decisions to confirm adherence to architectural principles performance expectations and cloud governance standards.
  • Produce high quality architecture documentation including diagrams decision records and migration playbooks that provide clear guidance to engineering and operations teams.
  • Engage with stakeholders from IT business support and industrial manufacturing domains to understand operational realities and reflect them in pragmatic scalable architectural choices.
  • Mentor technical teams on architecture patterns cloud native practices and secure data handling so that solutions remain maintainable and adaptable throughout their lifecycle.


Qualifications

  • Exhibit strong hands on experience with DevOps practices and tooling enabling continuous integration continuous delivery environment automation and monitoring for complex cloud based systems.
  • Demonstrate extensive background in designing and executing data migration strategies including data profiling mapping validation and cutover planning for large enterprise datasets.
  • Show proven expertise in big data ecosystems and patterns such as distributed storage processing and analytics that support scalable business intelligence and advanced analytics use cases.
  • Apply practical knowledge of business process modelling to capture current processes define optimized future states and align technology solutions with value stream improvements.
  • Utilize deep familiarity with GCP services Azure services and AWS services for compute storage networking data platforms and managed services tailored to enterprise applications.
  • Implement rigorous data security practices covering encryption identity and access management data classification and operational controls to safeguard sensitive and regulated information.
  • Draw on exposure to IT business support and industrial manufacturing contexts to design architectures that respect operational constraints compliance needs and production system reliability.
  • Communicate fluently in English in both written and spoken form to create clear technical artifacts and to collaborate effectively with diverse global stakeholders.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until June 11, 2026,

The annual salary for this position is between $ 102,000 - $ 160,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
