Job Summary

Functional Architect role focusing on SAP Yard and Resource Management Storage Unit Management and warehouse RF transactions responsible for designing robust hybrid work model solutions that optimize logistics and inventory processes integrate core business flows and ensure seamless day time operations for global stakeholders while driving measurable value for the enterprise and wider society through efficient and sustainable resource use.


Responsibilities

  • Design integrated solution architectures for SAP Yard and Resource Management that streamline vehicle movements yard activities and dock operations while ensuring efficient resource utilization across complex logistics networks.
  • Develop detailed functional designs for SAP Storage Unit Management that enhance stock visibility reduce handling time and support accurate inventory tracking across multiple warehouse locations and operational scenarios.
  • Configure and optimize SAP WM RF transactions to enable intuitive high performance mobile workflows that simplify tasks for warehouse personnel and reduce transaction errors in hybrid work environments.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP configurations that align with organizational goals and improve end to end supply chain reliability.
  • Analyze existing warehouse and yard processes to identify bottlenecks propose continuous improvement initiatives and implement SAP driven optimizations that directly lower operational costs and waste.
  • Provide guidance on data integration between SAP logistics modules and core business processes to ensure consistent information flow accurate reporting and timely decision making for stakeholders across the enterprise.
  • Support solution testing by preparing functional test scenarios coordinating user validation activities and resolving defects to guarantee stable and high quality system behavior in daily production use.
  • Document functional designs configuration decisions and process flows in clear and comprehensive artifacts that facilitate knowledge sharing future enhancements and compliance with internal standards.
  • Collaborate with operations teams during go live and post go live phases to stabilize SAP Yard and Warehouse solutions monitor performance and implement corrective actions that safeguard business continuity.
  • Engage with business partners to explain proposed solutions demonstrate tangible benefits for safety sustainability and efficiency and align system capabilities with broader organizational purpose and societal impact.
  • Provide ongoing functional support and troubleshooting for SAP logistics processes proactively addressing issues and recommending improvements that maintain user satisfaction and process resilience.
  • Coordinate with hybrid work model stakeholders to ensure that solution designs documentation and training approaches remain accessible and effective for distributed teams working in day time shifts.
  • Review system usage metrics and business key performance indicators to evaluate the impact of functional changes prioritize future enhancements and ensure that SAP investments deliver measurable value over time.


Qualifications

  • Possess extensive experience in SAP Yard and Resource Management with the ability to configure yard structures process flows and resource controls that meet complex operational requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in SAP Storage Unit Management including stock placement strategies unit handling processes and inventory control methods that support high volume warehousing operations.
  • Apply deep knowledge of SAP WM RF transactions to design mobile friendly workflows screen sequences and user interactions that increase productivity and accuracy for warehouse personnel.
  • Bring solid understanding of OrdertoCash and AccountsReceivable processes that enables alignment between logistics execution customer fulfillment and financial recognition activities.
  • Leverage experience in Procure to Pay and Payroll domains to ensure that material movements purchasing activities and workforce considerations are reflected correctly in integrated business solutions.
  • Show proven capability to work in hybrid collaboration models using digital tools and structured communication practices to maintain clarity and productivity across remote and onsite teams.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret complex process requirements and convert them into efficient SAP configurations and testable solutions.
  • Exhibit clear and concise communication skills to document functional designs explain process changes and support training efforts for diverse stakeholder groups in day time operations.
  • Maintain commitment to continuous learning in SAP logistics and related business domains staying updated on new features and industry practices that can enhance organizational resilience and societal value.


Certifications Required

SAP Certified Application Associate in SAP Extended Warehouse Management or equivalent logistics certification.
