Integration Architect

As an Integration Architect you will act as the project solution architect to form and develop customer information models. The architect will lead a team of integration developers. The Integration and Information Management team provides operations, maintenance, development and advisory on multiple ETL-, EAI- or data-hub based integration tools. This architect role includes naturally the relationships with the customers, discussing on business processes and information architecture. The role will be report to Cognizant account managers & other leaders.

The Cognizant IoT&Engineering service line are in the business of creating Smarter Solutions, Operations & Services through integrated IoT and Engineering capabilities.
We operate across Build / Make / Connect / Service segments across IT and OT domains:
- Smart Products - Smart connectivity to extend the functionality of devices
- Intelligent Operations - Intelligent solutions to transform production systems and utility operations
- Connected Mobility - Intelligent solutions to build connected & autonomous mobility
- Industrial Orchestration - Link business & operational domains for accelerated & accurate decisioning
We are experiencing a demand for new digital solutions in the Electrical Grid Modernization domain, in Norway and in greater Europe. In order to be positioned for this market, Cognizant is partnering with most of of the prime global SW-vendors.
About You:
You will architect and build information models by connecting information across customers information sources. Structured information models are fundamental to form new digital work processes. This role will be vital and contribute to customer Digital Business Strategies, placing respective portfolios around IOT, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, User Experience, Digital Engineering, Application Development and Maintenance and so forth.
Your Key Result Areas:
- Build suitable Information Architecture and Information Models according to customer needs
- Information management analysis, database operations and data-modelling
- Estimation of integration tasks
- Administrate customer’s integration and information management landscape in an end to end perspective. We provide architect, advisory and consulting services to ensure fit for purpose integrations in a modern technology landscape - resulting in full-scope customer information models. Our services include maintenance and operations in lifecycle a perspective.
- Lead local/virtual solution and implementation teams, implementing integration architecture and solutions
- Work in a matrix organization, contributing to prospecting , pre-sales and use case developments
- Development of suitable information flows and integrations, based on customer requirements
Required & nice to have Skills :
Must Haves:
1. Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Application (or other relevant degree’s)
2. Consulting and advisory attitude – understanding of complex information architectures. Strong experience in information management, solution architecture and integration development
3. Ability to sell integration solutions by understanding customer strategies and advise them on new digital solutions and technology
4. Clear Industry/IoT understanding of primarily Electrical Grid and DSO’s. Secondary domain skills are Oil & Gas, Manufacturing or Product Engineering
5. Minimum 10 year experience as integration consultant/developer including understanding of information landscapes, databases and data modelling.
6. Programming skills – examples .Net / Python / Microservices
7. Good understanding of terms like data transformation, data modelling, ETL, data analysis, data structures, tables, schemas, entities, data attributes and other data/database terms.
