Consulting Manager (Cards & Network), BFS Consulting Practice

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of loyalty programs, credit and debit card processing, collections, and card networks. Additionally, experience in strategy consulting is essential to drive our business forward and implement innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Management: Experience leading and overseeing integration projects related to card systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality across various platforms.

Loyalty Programs: Developed and managed loyalty programs tailored to enhance customer engagement and retention, leveraging data analytics to optimize program performance.

Credit and Debit Card Processing: Supervise the end-to-end processing of credit and debit card transactions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Collections Management: Implement effective collections strategies to minimize delinquency rates and maximize recoveries, while ensuring a customer-centric approach.

Card Network Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of card network operations, policies, and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient transaction processing.

Strategy Consulting: Provide strategic consulting services to clients, offering insights and recommendations to improve business performance and achieve organizational goals.

Expertise in Card payment systems - Issuing, Acquiring, Processing and Payment networks like Visa, Mastercard, EMV and Tokenization technologies.

Understanding of Card scheme rules and regulations such as PCI-DSS, chargeback management and interchange fee structures.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications are highly desirable.

Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in the cards industry, with a focus on integration, loyalty programs, credit and debit card processing, collections, and card networks.

Technical Skills: Proficient in card system integration, data analytics, and familiarity with the latest technologies and trends in the cards sector.

Strategy Consulting: Proven track record in strategy consulting, with the ability to analyze complex business challenges and develop actionable solutions.

Leadership: Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive successful project outcomes.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels.

Customer Focus: A customer-centric mindset, with the ability to develop and implement strategies that enhance the customer experience and drive business growth.

Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze data and trends to make informed decisions and develop effective strategies.

Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement them effectively.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until January 22nd, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $98,853.00 – $158,500.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
