About the role

As a TECHNOLOGY ARCHITECT (APIGEE), you will make an impact by serving as a specialist in Apigee-based API architecture. You will be a valued member of the architecture team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

· Design scalable APIs using Apigee.

· Integrate Salesforce, Oracle, and backend systems.

· Define and lead API architecture strategy.

· Ensure API security, performance, and compliance.

· Mentor teams and foster cross-functional collaboration.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Charlotte, NC. What you need to have to be considered.

• Expertise in Apigee and API architecture.
• 8–12 years of experience in technology architecture and integration.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and security.
• Experience with enterprise system integration (Salesforce, Oracle, etc.).
• Apigee Certified API Engineer certification.

These will help you stand out.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (especially GCP).
• Familiarity with tools like Postman, Git, Jenkins, and Splunk.
• Knowledge of canonical data models and reusable process APIs.
• Strong problem-solving and effective communication skills.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing domain.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $112,500 - $132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
