We are looking for a talented, forward-thinking SAP Commerce (Hybris) Architect to lead the development of our commerce platform across two parallel tracks. You will drive the design and implementation of innovative e-commerce solutions and business-critical web applications using the SAP Commerce Cloud platform and should be hands on with Spartacus development for headless implementation.
Responsibilities
• Design and implement reliable and scalable solutions for SAP Commerce webshops across two parallel tracks
• Ensure that the implementation aligns with SAP Commerce’s best practices and meets business needs. Evaluate and recommend improvements to enhance the overall performance of the platform
• Serve as a technical lead by providing hands-on support for complex development tasks and technical challenges
• Identifying areas for improvement in e-commerce webshops and suggesting possible technical solutions and improvements that align with business needs
• Collaborating with internal teams to discuss and provide a solution for integration with other systems and services
• Conduct code reviews, maintain coding standards, and implement best practices.
Requirements
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing e-commerce applications using SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris)
• Functional/technical proficiency with at least 5+ full lifecycle
• SAP Commerce Cloud implementations and 7+ years of industry and/or consulting experience.
• At least 2-3 years of working experience with integrating SAP Commerce with SAP S/4 Hana or other EPR systems
• Hands on experience with Spartacus development for headless implementation
• Experience SAP Commerce Storefront (Spartacus) and corresponding Frontend technology stack TypeScript, Nodejs, JavaScript, Less, CSS
• Extensive experience working with Java 17+ and Spring Frameworks, including (Core, IoC, AOP, Security, and Integration)
• Experience developing SAP Commerce web-based, e-commerce applications in a project-based environment
• In-depth knowledge of design and enterprise integration patterns and best practices
• Hands-on experience with SAP Commerce products and concepts (Product Modeling, Build system, FlexibleSearch, Impex, WCMS, Backoffice, SmartEdit, OCC) as well as Commerce Service layers (DAOs, Model Service, Facades, Interceptors, Event System, Workflow modeling, Order Management)
• Experience with tools and technologies like Apache Tomcat, Apache Web Server, Kibana, SOLR, Vagrant, Docker, and MySQL
• In-depth experience in Full Life Cycle Implementations, re-implementation, and Post post-implementation support of the SAP Commerce application
• Possess Extensive Experience working with Data Hub and Impex scripts to integrate Hybris with SAP and non-SAP systems
• In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycles, including Continuous Integration, Build tools, and configuration management
• Exposure to the continuous integration build tools and code quality tools
