Sr. Full Stack developer w/Java and Angular (Onsite)
Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified full stack developer with experience in Java Springboot, Node.JS and Angular, developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our developers have a passion for high-quality, reliable and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Location: Portsmouth - NH, US (Onsite)

Responsibilities:
- Design and development of software solutions using Spring Boot and Java.
- Be responsible for the implementation of design patterns to ensure scalable and maintainable code.
- Share a point of view on JUnit5 for unit testing and ensure high-quality code.
- Use YAML for configuration management and ensure consistency across environments.
- Implement and maintain JSON and XML data structures for seamless data exchange.
- Manage source code using GIT and ensure accurate version control practices.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Ensure the software solutions are compatible with Linux environments.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Fix and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
- Ensure that software solutions align with business requirements and company goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or 5+ years of IT experience with hands-on development experience.
Key Technical Skills:
- FRONT END: Must have - Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, JS
- SERVER: Must have - Java Spring Boot or NodeJS/Typescript, strong understanding of the applicable package managers (maven & npm), REST API development.
- DATABASE: Must have - MySQL (Generally AWS RDS). Good to have: AWS Aurora, Mongo Atlas
- CLOUD / CLOUD SERVICES - Must have: AWS CDK/Lambda/S3. Knowledge of the AWS ecosystem is desirable as well.
- CI/CD: Proven understanding of GitHub and Bamboo is desirable. Knowledge of Liberty’s cloud-forge ecosystem is a bonus.
- SECURITY: Working knowledge of authentication and authorization frameworks like OAuth (Ping & Entra ID) and Auth0 is desirable
- Property & Casualty Insurance.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $49,001K – $107K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
