QA Lead:
- Team Leadership: Leading and mentoring a team of QA testers.
- Test Strategy Development: Creating and implementing comprehensive test strategies and plans.
- Quality Standards: Establishing and maintaining quality standards and best practices.
- Collaboration: Working closely with development, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Test Planning: Developing detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Review: Review teams work and provide regular reports on test progress, quality metrics, and defect status to stakeholders.
- Test Execution: Overseeing the execution of manual and automated tests.
- Defect Management: Tracking and managing defects, ensuring they are properly documented and resolved.

- Automation: Identifying the scope of maintenance and enhancement for the existing automation scripts and to increase the automation test coverage for regression testing. And reviewing the automation scripts and PRs to ensure the framework is up to date.
QA Testers:
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with development, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure there are no requirements gaps, and Acceptance criteria is finalized so that maximum test case coverage can be achieved.
- Test Case creation: During the initial days of sprint, for the current sprint stories, test cases need to be drafted, reviewed with leads and developers to align with the test case coverage.
- Test Execution: Creation of test cycle to perform sanity, regression, and smoke testing across the environments like QA, preprod to confirm the stability of the environments, expected behavior of the QA delivered user stories and the validating that because of the new changes/fixes there is no impact on the existing site’s functionalities.
- Defects logging & triage: Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects throughout the development process ensuring the software quality is met. Documenting the resolution with the test evidence.
- Test Execution Report: Completing the test execution and providing and getting it approved before code moved to preprod and production to ensure team is aligned with test case coverage and execution and defect leakage is minimized.
- Automation: Executing the automation regression suite for each release of any ad-hoc testing requests, aligning with the lead, and working on automation script maintenance and development periodically.
