SAP FICO Sr. Consultant

Job Summary

São Paulo, Brazil based SAP FI/CO Senior Consultant to perform mapping, conceptual, technical design and other FI/CO supportive functions for Brazil Tax Reform related projects. This role will work with both technical and functional leads and responsible to close gapes and drive the design based on functional requirements in support of configuration changes to SAP and supporting systems.

Experience in SAP FI and CO modules - General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost and Profit Center Accounting (CPA), Payment Processes, Encryption/Decryption

Configuration of SAP FI, CO modules based on business requirements.

Experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules like MM, PM, PP, SD, SM, HR and PS.

Cooperating with consultants from other modules such as MM, PM, PP, SD, SM and PS.

Data Mapping - Mapping the source data element for each data element in the target environment.

Gap Analysis - Finding the gap between As-Is and To-Be processes, ability to ask the right questions regarding business requirement gaps.

Technical & Regulatory Knowledge of Brazil’s Tax Systems

Comprehensive understanding of the current tax landscape in Brazil and the anticipated impact of the upcoming Tax Reform on businesses operating in the Brazil

Availability to work in the São Paulo office three times a week

Project Management Skills

Agile and Waterfall Methodologies, Risk Management, Change Management,Timeline & Cross-Functional resources management

Stakeholder & Communication Skills

Fluent English

Strong skills to coordinate and host meetings with several stakeholders within Finance, IT, Legal, and Operations teams

Decision-Making Under Uncertainty

SAP & Integration with upstream and downstream systems (Knowledge of SAP FI, DRC, TaxOne are desired)

Electronic Invoicing – Understanding how e-invoicing (Nota Fiscal Eletrônica) and tax automation tools can be leveraged

Minimum of 10 years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects.

Minimum of 10 years SAP experience supporting General Ledger plus 3 or more of the following functions: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter-company Accounting,Project System.

Experience with indirect tax configuration in SAP

Experience with WHT Tax configuration in SAP

Location: São Paulo, Brazil - In Apple Office (Itaim Bibi), 3 days per week at least, must be in office Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday and Monday/Friday can be remote.
