Lead Java Full Stack Developer (On-site)
We are seeking a highly qualified Lead Java Full Stack Developer (On-site) with 9 to 12+ validated experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS SQL Spring Boot Angular JS Java Javascript and mySQL along with domain experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management.
Location: Texas City - TX USA, On-site

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using AWS Spring Boot and Angular JS to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design implement and test software applications that enhance Pharmacy Benefit Management services.
- Utilize SQL and mySQL databases to ensure efficient data storage retrieval and management for various applications.
- Implement robust and scalable Java and Javascript code to support the development of new features and functionalities.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software development processes.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements translating them into technical specifications.
- Ensure software solutions are secure reliable and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
- Participate in agile development processes contributing to sprint planning stand-ups and retrospectives.
- Mentor and guide junior developers fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Optimize application performance and scalability to handle increasing user demands and data volumes.
- Contribute to the companys mission by developing solutions that improve healthcare outcomes and patient experiences..
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience of a strong understanding of AWS services and cloud computing principles.
- Demonstrate expertise in SQL and mySQL for effective database management.
- Have extensive experience with Spring Boot and Angular JS for building modern web applications.
- Show proficiency in Java and Javascript for developing robust software solutions.
- Exhibit knowledge of Pharmacy Benefit Management to align software solutions with industry needs.
- Display excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a hybrid work model.
- Hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field with relevant certifications being a plus.
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until Jun 15th, 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $120K – $140K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
