Position Summary
Senior Architect – Mobile: Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications across both iOS and Android platforms. The role requires a passion for mobile technology, strong problem-solving abilities, and a demonstrated history of delivering successful apps.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong knowledge on programming languages such as Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android, and Java for cross-platform development.
- Strong knowledge on mobile app development frameworks and SDKs, including UIKit for iOS and Android SDK for Android, with expertise in basic and latest mobile app architectures like MVVM, Coordinator, and Redux-like modern architectures.
- Strong knowledge on modern UI frameworks such as SwiftUI for iOS and Jetpack Compose for Android.
- Strong knowledge on mobile app design principles and UI/UX best practices, utilizing tools like Android Studio and Xcode.
- Strong knowledge on mobile app testing frameworks and tools like XCTest, Espresso, SwiftUI previews, and Jetpack Compose previews for both manual and automated testing.
- Strong knowledge on RESTful APIs and JSON to seamlessly integrate backend services with mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge on troubleshooting and debugging mobile applications across different devices and OS versions using debugging tools within Android Studio and Xcode.
- Strong knowledge on version control systems such as Git for collaborative development.
- Strong knowledge on writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of complex mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architectural designs.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, mentoring junior developers, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to support efficient mobile app development processes on both platforms.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
- Define and implement mobile app architectures, including but not limited to MVVM, MVP, or MVI, leveraging platform-specific features and design patterns.
- Work closely with product managers, system analyst, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with product roadmaps and user experience goals.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, advancements, and best practices in mobile app development for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define comprehensive testing strategies and ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free mobile applications.
- Act as a subject matter expert in mobile app development, providing technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving innovation initiatives to enhance the overall mobile app ecosystem.

- Graduate of Computer Science or related field
