In this role, you will:
· Engage with pharmaceutical clients to understand their business needs and define analytics-driven solutions.
· Lead the development and execution of commercial analytics projects including sales force effectiveness market access analytics and patient journey analysis.
· Analyze and interpret commercial data from multiple sources such as CRM Data IQVIA MIDAS IQVIA Xponent IQVIA Plantrak IQVIA LAD/APLD Calls Events Sample Claims Legacy Data like EMR/HER to drive business decisions
· Ability to identify meaningful KPIs/ metrics and create dashboards/reports/ provide insights to support sales marketing and commercial operations
· Implement and optimize data transformation validation and lineage processes
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data strategies and performance
· Ensure data integrity and compliance with industry regulations
· Design and implement data models to improve business insights
· Create documents such as business requirements, functional requirements, business rules analytics plans quality checklists etc.
· Work closely with the practices and delivery organization to co-define and drive transformation strategy and service offerings
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
· Stay updated on industry trends data sources and emerging technologies in commercial analytics.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Bridgewater, NJ. What you need to have to be considered
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science Statistics Business Analytics Life Sciences or a related field.
· 12+ years of experience in pharmaceutical commercial analytics consulting or related domain.
· Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau Power BI etc.)
· Proficiency in Python R SQL and advanced Excel for data analytics and modeling.
· Good hands-on expertise with MS Office 365 PPT Advanced Excel & Word
· Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage client relationships effectively.
· Excellent communication storytelling and consulting skills to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.
· Ability to manage multiple projects prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
· Strong business acumen and knowledge of pharmaceutical sales and marketing strategies.
· Exhibit a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues
· Demonstrate the flexibility to work among diverse corporate environments and technical and non-technical associates
· Proven ability to contribute to new business development efforts and to lead and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until July 10th, 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $88,000 - $155,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
