IVR Chatbot Genesys focus Developer
We are seeking an IVR Chatbot Developer (Genesys focus) specializing in Genesys Cloud. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology architecture and a good understanding of the Life and Annuities Insurance domain. This hybrid role requires excellent English language skills and offers a day shift with no travel requirements.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 to 4 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Teaneck, NJ. Responsibilities
· Design and implement scalable and robust architecture solutions using Genesys Cloud to meet business needs.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and applications.
· Analyze and evaluate existing systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
· Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
· Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural designs and processes.
· Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in technology architecture.
· Conduct regular assessments to ensure system performance reliability and security.
· Lead efforts to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
· Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in technology to drive innovation.
· Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
· Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure project success.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
· Mentor and coach junior team members to foster a culture of learning and growth.
Requirements
· Possess extensive experience in Genesys Cloud architecture and implementation.
· Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Life and Annuities Insurance domain.
· Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
· Have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex technology projects.
· Show proficiency in English language skills both written and spoken.
· Display strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
· Be adaptable to a hybrid work model and flexible in approach to work.
· Competency from Service Order (update Qualifications for both External and Internal posting as appropriate)
· Minimum 3 to 5 years development experience implementing self-service IVR and Omni-Channel Orchestration Routing on Genesys Cloud CX.
· Functional and hands on experience on development on Voice and Non-Voice (SMS, Email, Chat, Voice Bot etc.) applications solutioning using Genesys Cloud CX Architect Bot Flows.
· - Delivery credentials for Self Service and Analytics solutions enabled with speech-based interfaces and dynamic menu, based on customer treatment strategies.
· Thorough understanding of Genesys Framework, Integration with internal and external components.
· Genesys Cloud CX certified professional in one or more focused solution area (Inbound, Outbound, Multi-channel, Desktop, Integration, Recording, Reporting, etc.)
Salary and compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 – $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
