We are looking for a Senior AML Business Analyst to join our AIA team. As a Senior Business Analyst, The ideal candidate will analyze business processes, gather requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance collections and recovery systems while leveraging SQL for data analysis and reporting. You will work with a cross functional team consisting of technology and business partners to successfully implement projects and releases.

In this role, you will
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements related to Risk or AML/Transaction monitoring systems in Banking Domain.
- Conducting feasibility analysis, project scoping and providing project work estimates.
- Perform data analysis using SQL to extract insights and validate system data.
- Building data quality checks and writing complex SQL queries.
- Support system configurations, data integration, and implementation of new features
What you’ll need to succeed (required skills):
- 6-10 years of BA experience in data analytics/data integration through agile environment specifically in Risk, or AML/Transaction monitoring projects.
- Must have deep understanding of AML domain, particularly in screening, risk and fraud - how data impacts business operations, compliance, regulations standards and decision makings.
- Proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience querying and analyzing data from various data sources.
- Strong experience in data analysis, analyze large data sets and identify patterns, anomalies, profiling data, clean-up, data wrangling and validation.
- Experience working in large scale Enterprise Data Lake ingestion and extraction projects.
- Experience with Data Lake, Python, SQL Server, Power BI etc.
- Solid knowledge of metadata management principles, metadata modeling and writing metadata definitions.Good understanding of data Security Classifications, Risk Assessment (TRMIS) guidelines.Strong analytical, organizational, and technical skills to analyze, model and interpret data.
- Hand-on experience in capturing Data Lineage and Data Mapping between Source and Target systems.
- Work Experience in investigating, analyzing, estimating system applications in a large integrated solution environment.
- Demonstrable experience with conceptual, logical and physical data modeling techniques.
