A Day-in-the-Life of a DevOps Engineer

I'm responsible for the designing, leading and building an automated deployment tool sets including environments, code management, continous integration and continuous delivery processes.

I  define and set best practices for code management, build, deploy and releases across multiple teams and products with our CI/CD model using ECS, Docker and AWS.

I get to work closely with the software development teams and other functional groups to create and provide a robust, flexible and scalable platform.

Should You Apply? 

  • 4+ Years’ Experience as Devops Engineer in creating CI/CD pipelines for various technologies.
  • Code management best practices such as branching, merging, and integration strategies.
  • 3+ Years’ Experience in Containerization platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes.
  • 2+ Experience in with a cloud platform: Azure, AWS, GCP or PCF.
  • Experience in using at least one of the configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet or Ansible.
  • Experience in using Terraform or Cloud formation.
  • Administrative proficiency on Windows, Unix systems Linux (CentOS, or other flavor)
  • Exceptional scripting experience (Groovy, Python, etc.)
