WHAT ARE THE EXPECTATIONS: You will be a Service Line Sales Specialist (SLS) in the Technology Business Unit.  You'll be in a sales role working with one or more groups in our Digital Systems & Technology practice  to grow and nurture new and existing business. Your sales expertise is critical with other account teams in vertical markets as you expand into new markets and business offerings. Our SLS professionals are trusted advisors to both the client and the Cognizant Client Partner blending strategic, tactical and ‘street smart’ sales experience.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 7+ years experience in IT services and sales in large enterprise organizations
  • Must have recent experience working for IT professional services or management consulting firms
  • Technical Sales experience with cloud products (AWS/Azure/GCP, or Hybrid Cloud) 
  • Subject Matter Expert in technical sales environment involving one or more of the skills mentioned (Datacenter, Network, Workplace Services, Security)
  • Proven track record of sales experience and success delivering to and exceeding sales quotas
  • Experience developing opportunity pipelines, qualifying high priority deals, and winning new business in line with agreed targets
  • Experience closing sales with a specific emphasis on growing sales, winning new deals in customer accounts in line with pipeline planning and pre-agreed targets.
