As I joined Cognizant, I was put on a project on my third workday and have since worked with senior executives both on Cognizant’s and the client’s side. My project manager makes me feel as if my ideas are valuable and gives me input to help improve my performance. I’ve been given the opportunity to present in front of high ranking executives, be part of facilitating workshops, hackathons and RFP-processes. As well as this, I’ve created deliverables and built relationships with key stakeholders. Working with my intelligent, innovative and supportive colleagues, I’ve been able to quickly develop core consulting skills, analytical skills as well as business knowledge. I was also given the opportunity to spend two weeks in Spain with the other graduates from Cognizant Europe, further giving me a sense of comradery and belonging in the company. I’ve only been at Cognizant for a couple of months, but I’ve already gotten the opportunity to develop my consulting skills.
